McCoy’s Seafood Bar reimagines a legacy born from one of Boston’s most respected fishing families. The challenge was balancing that deep-rooted tradition with a refreshed, modern atmosphere that appeals to both loyal locals and curious visitors. The opportunity was to create a brand that feels timeless yet polished to embody Boston’s harbor spirit through refined design, rich storytelling, and a sense of place.

The insights centered on maintaining the warmth of a neighborhood staple while elevating it to match a premium dining experience. I developed a full brand design, including a new logo package, brand elements, indoor and outdoor renderings, print ads, and social media posts. The creative direction blended clean coastal textures, warm lighting, and ocean-inspired tones to mirror the restaurant’s refined yet welcoming feel, ensuring the visual identity inside the space matched its digital presence across every platform.
