pahoya boba tea

Pahoya is a Hawaii-born bubble tea brand inspired by the smooth, flowing lava that shapes the islands. The challenge was creating packaging and a brand identity that stood out on crowded shelves while staying true to its Hawaiian roots without feeling overly niche. The opportunity was to capture the essence of island flow; blending nature, story, and sensory beauty into a drink that feels like a small vacation in a bottle.

Audience insights showed that younger consumers are drawn to brands that feel intentional and artfully crafted. The creative direction combined organic textures, tropical fruits, and island-inspired visuals to balance grounded warmth with vibrant energy. I designed the logo, packaging, and color palette alongside print and digital assets that reflected Pahoya’s core values of discovery, respect, and connection. Turning each bottle into an invitation to slow down, sip, and escape.
